The México FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gerardo Estebano should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute Thurman Kidd shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Nelson Moody cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gerardo Estebano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Miami Vice getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nelson Moody hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Good in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gerardo Estebano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blake Bradshaw hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Theodore Stiles during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theodore Stiles made a kick off. Adalberto Cowan hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Emmitt Edmonds was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the match, México FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Good came free, but Gerardo Estebano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 59th minute, Emmitt Edmonds fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 60th minute, Emmitt Edmonds reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gerardo Estebano. The goal made the score 0-3. In the 64th minute Elias Good shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerardo Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nelson Moody could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Gerardo Estebano made a huge save. But to his dismay, Nelson Moody quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 91 minutes into the game, Miami Vice's Emmitt Edmonds nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gerardo Estebano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 93rd minute, Nelson Moody hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Gerardo Estebano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
