Steven Barbour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Adrian Beck tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Josiah Freeman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zack Harris made a kick off. If James Bailey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steven Barbour in the 57th minute of play. When Levi Dukes fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferry Pass's protests and gave Levi Dukes a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes, Phoenixsun's Josiah Smiley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Adrian Beck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenixsun reached it. In the 62nd minute, Nicholas Bonilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the game, Roscoe Slaughter was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phoenixsun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferry Pass the free kick. The supporters of Ferry Pass booed when Phoenixsun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roscoe Slaughter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phoenixsun's Josiah Freeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Harris in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ferry Pass's zone, James Bailey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Beck came out of the goal and James Bailey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
