Adrian Beck made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hank Hendrix in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Ferry Pass getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Derrick McIntosh hit a great ball. Elliott Vinson took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garry Sandoval. Garry Sandoval dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Elliott Vinson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Garry Sandoval made a huge save. Zack Harris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Antonio Worley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Vinson got free with Garry Sandoval in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Northville Mustangs's Garry Sandoval got control of the ball when Elliott Vinson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hank Hendrix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Craig Whitney's late challenge caught a Northville Mustangs's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Craig Whitney helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Ferry Pass was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Craig Whitney to maneuver through the defense. After 37 minutes of play, Northville Mustangs's Antonio Worley made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Adrian Beck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Northville Mustangs's Antonio Worley got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Northville Mustangs booed when Ferry Pass was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derrick McIntosh didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Hendrix in the 44th minute of play forced Ferry Pass's goalkeeper Adrian Beck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Northville Mustangs's Garry Sandoval played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zack Harris in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After a defensive mix-up in Northville Mustangs's zone, Elliott Vinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Garry Sandoval came out of the goal and Elliott Vinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 69 minutes, Zack Harris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferry Pass's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zack Harris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zack Harris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garry Sandoval having to interfere. A hard shot 77 in the game by Antonio Worley from a close distance when the talented Adrian Beck managed to make a qualified save. Ferry Pass's players were relieved. Garry Sandoval took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zack Harris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 83 minutes into the game, Levi Dukes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ferry Pass's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Northville Mustangs the free kick. Hank Hendrix kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match.
