The referee felt a red card was in order, 8 minutes into the game, when Maarten Vissenaeken put in a rough tackle. A collision led to Key West FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Maarten Vissenaeken hit a great ball. Calvin Yarbrough could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Cameron Parnell made a huge save. Diboll's Cameron Parnell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Diboll from getting a goal against them. Cameron Parnell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calvin Yarbrough in the 27th minute of play. Cameron Parnell made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Calvin Yarbrough sent off a good shot on target. Claudinei Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Werner Rhoades in the 30th minute of the match. Diboll's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Calvin Yarbrough 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Claudinei Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joesph Fletcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anthony Gifford sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Reuben Sims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Diboll's Cameron Parnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Yarbrough in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Diboll's goal looked a bit too open when Reuben Sims came free, but Cameron Parnell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Calvin Yarbrough kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cameron Parnell. That made the score 2-0 in the 48 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Joesph Fletcher made the kick off in the second half. Diboll's Cameron Parnell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Yarbrough in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Calvin Yarbrough in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cameron Parnell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Calvin Yarbrough put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Cameron Parnell. If Calvin Yarbrough had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Diboll's goalkeeper Cameron Parnell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bradly Owen kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Diboll's Joesph Fletcher slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claudinei Montenegro. That made the score 3-1 after 69 minutes of play. Reuben Sims might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cameron Parnell. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reuben Sims ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 74th minute, Calvin Yarbrough made a precise shot to the right of Cameron Parnell. Diboll's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 79th match minute, Diboll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Curtis Calhoun to maneuver through the defense. Ian Whitten didn't quite understand what happened when in the 84 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Yarbrough in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cameron Parnell saved Diboll from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Monroe Braun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Calvin Yarbrough had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cameron Parnell. Diboll's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calvin Yarbrough was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1.
