FAIR PLAY MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester United the free kick. Roberto Alston didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kauã Loyola went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pierre Bocanegra made a kick off. In the 54th minute Pierre Bocanegra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Gustavsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, FAIR PLAY MZ's Zachery Henderson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roberto Alston didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester United. Roger Gustavsson came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by FAIR PLAY MZ's Tyrell Ragsdale. But to his dismay, Tyrell Ragsdale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.
