Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Yong Babcock took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Art Milton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Art Milton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ali Leonard got free with Percy Betts in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Yong Babcock took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Percy Betts to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to New Bern FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Nicholas Doud hit a great ball. Yong Babcock charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yong Babcock the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of BOILERMAKERS booed when New Bern FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yong Babcock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Percy Betts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yong Babcock in the 29th minute of the match. BOILERMAKERS's Percy Betts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save BOILERMAKERS from getting a goal against them. Percy Betts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yong Babcock in the 33rd minute of play. Art Milton kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Yong Babcocks short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Percy Betts to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 41 minutes into the match, BOILERMAKERS's goalkeeper Percy Betts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ali Leonard. Ali Leonard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Percy Betts made a huge save. Xanti Damar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Miles Connell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Betts having to interfere. BOILERMAKERS's Virgil Christopher was substituted for Boruc Jarosiewicz. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Art Milton made the kick off in the second half. Carlos Sorenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Milton, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute, BOILERMAKERS's Art Milton ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carlos Sorenson. Carlos Sorenson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Virgil Christopher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Carlos Sorenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Art Milton in the 65th minute of play forced New Bern FC's goalkeeper Carlos Sorenson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 70 minutes, Art Milton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOILERMAKERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Milton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Yong Babcock sped through BOILERMAKERS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Percy Betts. Carlos Sorenson made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Virgil Christopher sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, BOILERMAKERS's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Traylor came free, but Percy Betts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Sorenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Art Milton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute Ari Traylor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Betts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Virgil Christopher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Sorenson having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in New Bern FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Carlos Sorenson, was totally fooled by BOILERMAKERS's Xanti Damar, who 93 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
