Ignacio Beasley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percy Betts having to interfere. Percy Betts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Denne, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. With 18 minutes on the clock, Jake Clemons commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 22 minutes into the game, Oviedo's Ignacio Beasley nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Percy Betts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 25th minute Barry Read shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Percy Betts saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, 傅德笑 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOILERMAKERS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Leif Milligan's late challenge caught a BOILERMAKERS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leif Milligan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th minute, Leif Milligan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Art Milton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, BOILERMAKERS's goal looked a bit too open when Barry Read came free, but Percy Betts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th minute, Otto Denne made a precise shot to the right of Percy Betts. BOILERMAKERS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2.
BOILERMAKERS's Virgil Christopher was substituted for Boruc Jarosiewicz. The wind increased when Ignacio Beasley made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Art Milton left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOILERMAKERS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After having played for 61 minutes, Art Milton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOILERMAKERS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Art Milton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 傅德笑 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bernie Gibson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernie Gibson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Art Milton, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. BOILERMAKERS's Art Milton got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernie Gibson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Art Milton in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, 傅德笑 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernie Gibson was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Oviedo's zone, 傅德笑 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernie Gibson came out of the goal and 傅德笑 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Art Milton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Gibson having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BOILERMAKERS's Alfred Lowry got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Trinidad James sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Percy Betts skillfully saved the ball. In the 80th match minute, BOILERMAKERS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Benga to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd match minute, Oviedo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leif Milligan to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute, Xanti Damar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Percy Betts made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Barry Read sent off a good shot on target. Bernie Gibson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Art Milton in the 86th minute of the match. 傅德笑 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernie Gibson having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 苏翔宇 during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to BOILERMAKERS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. 苏翔宇 hit a great ball. Trinidad James's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Percy Betts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. BOILERMAKERS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Oviedo for a fine match.
