Lonnie Hurley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Collin Trimble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ali Hogue who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 45thth minute tested the skills of Tory Stringer when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 46 minutes into the game, Dustin Burton recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tory Stringer. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hayden Mills to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nomads Football Club's goalkeeper Tory Stringer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Ali Hogue quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 66 minutes into the match, Ali Hogue had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tory Stringer. Nomads Football Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Hogue was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Lonnie Hurley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hayden Mills in the 70th minute of play.
