After 4 played minutes Nomads Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Toby Peters. 5 minutes into the game, Bernabe Alfonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Darren Bullard was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nomads Football Club's goalkeeper Darren Bullard, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Nomads Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Dean Paige. LEXINGTON F.C.'s Bernabe Alfonso got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of LEXINGTON F.C. booed when Nomads Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mark Whittaker didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19th minute, Bernabe Alfonso ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darren Bullard was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 27th match minute, Nomads Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toby Peters to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Bernabe Alfonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Bullard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 30 minutes, Sirius Black managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LEXINGTON F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sirius Black was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mark Whittaker's late challenge caught a LEXINGTON F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mark Whittaker helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 played minutes, LEXINGTON F.C.'s Melvin Harris shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Darren Bullard came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in LEXINGTON F.C. reached it. LEXINGTON F.C.'s Yu Hong Feng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save LEXINGTON F.C. from getting a goal against them. Nomads Football Club's Darren Bullard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernabe Alfonso in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Collin Trimble to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, LEXINGTON F.C.'s Sirius Black got a free kick in the 50th minute. With 52 minutes on the clock, Telmo Bomba commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of LEXINGTON F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LEXINGTON F.C.. In the 54th minute, Tory Stringer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yu Hong Feng was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sirius Black hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute LEXINGTON F.C. were awarded a corner. Melvin Harris went to the cornerflag to take it. Melvin Harris made a great header on LEXINGTON F.C.'s corner, it was just that Nomads Football Club's Darren Bullard managed to reach the ball for a save. 69 minutes into the match, Nomads Football Club's goalkeeper Darren Bullard had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dino Maia. Yu Hong Feng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Collin Trimble in the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in LEXINGTON F.C.'s zone, Tory Stringer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yu Hong Feng came out of the goal and Tory Stringer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 78th minute, Dino Maia made a precise shot to the right of Darren Bullard. Nomads Football Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. In the 83rd minute, Dino Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Jamar Gill managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEXINGTON F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Jamar Gill was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Bullard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 96th play minutes Collin Trimble shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Yu Hong Feng and just under the crossbar into goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the LEXINGTON F.C. players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
