Spectators: 8500 (Terracing: 6376, Seating: 1955, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jack Agnes got the match started through his kick off. Willis Kirkland came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Kentucky Mustangs's Jack Agnes. But to his dismay, Jack Agnes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 8th minute Bombai Bombis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willis Kirkland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Crystal Lawns's Terry Sanford got a free kick in the 10th minute. Jack Agnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willis Kirkland. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jack Agnes ran back to his position shaking his head. Willis Kirkland made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Jack Agnes sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Kentucky Mustangs getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bombai Bombis hit a great ball. In the 26th minute Reggie Cooper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanford Peters saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony Freitas got free with Willis Kirkland in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Jack Agnes got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 2-0. 33 minutes into the match. Jack Agnes kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Crystal Lawns's Drew Durham in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kentucky Mustangs's goalie prevented a goal. Jack Agnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Terry Sanford charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terry Sanford the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Terry Sanford hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 44 minutes of play Crystal Lawns's Terry Sanford was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 45th match minute, Crystal Lawns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Terry Sanford to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 46 minutes, Jose Cunningham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kentucky Mustangs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Cunningham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute, Bombai Bombis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

If Tony Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tony Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Crystal Lawns's goal looked a bit too open when Jack Agnes came free, but Willis Kirkland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 played minutes Kentucky Mustangs got a freekick which was hit by Tracy Brunson. Reggie Cooper hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. After 73 minutes Crystal Lawns's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jose Cunningham who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Jose Cunningham got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Willis Kirkland quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Kentucky Mustangs booed when Crystal Lawns was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reggie Cooper didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bombai Bombis in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Willis Kirkland saved Crystal Lawns from getting behind. After having played for 96 minutes, Jack Agnes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kentucky Mustangs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jack Agnes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that Kentucky Mustangs were the better team. Kentucky Mustangs's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
