Spectators: 8446 (Terracing: 6336, Seating: 1942, VIP seats: 168) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Verner Johnsson started the match with the kick off. In the 4thth minute of the game Verner Johnsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blue Rock F.C.'s Richard Silver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fletcher Pritchett hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute, Verner Johnsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kal - El fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Fletcher Pritchett hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Richard Silver showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonah Lockhart in the 17th minute of the match. Richard Silver made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonah Lockhart in the 19th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kal - El's goalkeeper Iustin Florea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fletcher Pritchett. Richard Silver showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonah Lockhart, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jonah Lockhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Richard Silver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Blue Rock F.C. getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Zane MacFarland hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Blue Rock F.C. defense, Jonah Lockhart kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Richard Silver. The Blue Rock F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Richard Silver should have stopped the shot. Richard Silver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonah Lockhart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the match, Verner Johnsson notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Blue Rock F.C.'s Richard Silver. Richard Silver was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 played minutes Kal - El got a freekick which was hit by Verner Johnsson. In the 41st minute Verner Johnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Silver saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fletcher Pritchett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Blue Rock F.C.'s Rudolf Baker got a free kick in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Kal - El's goalkeeper Iustin Florea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fletcher Pritchett. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Kal - El's John Tilley was substituted for Joseph Nordlander. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fletcher Pritchett to make the kick off. Blue Rock F.C.'s Richard Silver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Blue Rock F.C. from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Blue Rock F.C. getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Duncan Thomason hit a great ball. In the 66th minute of the match, Jonah Lockhart tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Richard Silver saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Richard Silver took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Johnsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Silver came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Kal - El's Verner Johnsson. But to his dismay, Verner Johnsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Jonah Lockhart fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Silver having to interfere. Kal - El's Iustin Florea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fletcher Pritchett in the 81st minute of play. Richard Silver made an important save on a dangerous shot by Verner Johnsson in the 82nd minute. John Tilley could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Richard Silver made a huge save. Iustin Florea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rudolf Baker in the 87th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the game, Verner Johnsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Richard Silver was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Kal - El could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Blue Rock F.C. throughout the match.
