Spectators: 8527 (Terracing: 6397, Seating: 1960, VIP seats: 170) Ward Doran started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 4th play minutes Ward Doran shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Haimon Moraitopoulos and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Doran in the 12th minute of play forced Ditalent.F.C.'s goalkeeper Haimon Moraitopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haimon Moraitopoulos was a little too slow when Ward Doran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. 28 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Dirk McQueen came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Deng Zheng Ke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Egil Östlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Haimon Moraitopoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Doran in the 34th minute. In the 38th minute, Marcellus Cox hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Deng Zheng Ke stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Ditalent.F.C.'s zone, Jerold Brownell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haimon Moraitopoulos came out of the goal and Jerold Brownell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ward Doran in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haimon Moraitopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Ditalent.F.C.'s Dave Zamora got a free kick in the 58th minute. Santo Sparks took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haimon Moraitopoulos. Haimon Moraitopoulos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Haimon Moraitopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Doran in the 65th minute of the match. After 66 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Ward Doran made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haimon Moraitopoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ward Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haimon Moraitopoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ward Doran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egil Östlund made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Deng Zheng Ke sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ward Doran in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Haimon Moraitopoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 78th minute, Ward Doran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicholas Lockwood during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 85 played minutes Ditalent.F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Lockwood. In the 87thth minute of the game Ward Doran who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ditalent.F.C.'s Haimon Moraitopoulos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Ward Doran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Golden Hills's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ward Doran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Golden Hills players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
