The audience was convinced that Robustiano Amor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duncan Hawley was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. In the 48th minute of the match Robustiano Amor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duncan Hawley showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oswaldo Stewart stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donovan Heath in the 62nd minute of play forced CARCAMO FC's goalkeeper Duncan Hawley to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 86th minute Emanuel Novak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Hawley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emanuel Novak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Duncan Hawley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosmos Soccer Club's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
