Arden Hills's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Golden Hills's Egil Östlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Hilton in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Julio Rios tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egil Östlund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 22nd minute, Jerold Brownell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ulryk Tscherner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ward Doran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute of the match, Hayden Gonzalez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Egil Östlund saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ulryk Tscherner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Doran, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Egil Östlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luk Lucky in the 34th minute of the match. Ward Doran struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Hilton in the 45th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Tuan Bradley made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Julio Rios. Ward Doran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ulryk Tscherner having to make a save. Ulryk Tscherner made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Ward Doran sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Hilton came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Golden Hills's Egil Östlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Hilton in the 86th minute of play. Ulryk Tscherner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Doran in the 88th minute. In the 90th minute, Vicente Hilton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egil Östlund was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 93 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Luk Lucky came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luk Lucky fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egil Östlund having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
