Luk Lucky scored 0-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Haimon Moraitopoulos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 30th minute Julio Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haimon Moraitopoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Antonio Platt during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Luk Lucky sped through Ditalent.F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Haimon Moraitopoulos. Haimon Moraitopoulos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luk Lucky's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. 45 minutes into the game, Luk Lucky cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Haimon Moraitopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Rios was the one to do the kick off. After 71 minutes, Magne Stephansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arden Hills and the Ditalent.F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes, Ditalent.F.C.'s Dave Zamora shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ulryk Tscherner came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ditalent.F.C. reached it. Hayden Gonzalez charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayden Gonzalez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arden Hills's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
