The supporters of Golden Hills booed when CARCAMO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Cutler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 8th minute Ward Doran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duncan Hawley saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ron Huang's late challenge caught a Golden Hills's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ron Huang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 14 minutes of play, Golden Hills's Ward Doran made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duncan Hawley was left in no man's land by his defense there! CARCAMO FC's Duncan Hawley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ward Doran in the 17th minute of play. Orville Hough kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When Orville Hough came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Golden Hills fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orville Hough couldn't finish the play. Duncan Hawley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Doran, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Egil Östlund made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Oswaldo Stewart sent off a good shot on target. Golden Hills's Ward Doran got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 32nd minute of the match Ron Huang completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ron Huang a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 33rd match minute, CARCAMO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Huang to maneuver through the defense. In the 38th minute, Ward Doran ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Duncan Hawley was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. A throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game was made by Kermit Cardwell with Vern Rutledge as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Ward Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 46 minutes into the match, Golden Hills's goal looked a bit too open when Kermit Cardwell came free, but Egil Östlund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jerold Brownell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ward Doran made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Golden Hills were awarded a corner. Santo Sparks went to the cornerflag to take it. Golden Hills's Santo Sparks was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Duncan Hawley in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quincy Miles in the 54th minute of play forced Golden Hills's goalkeeper Egil Östlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duncan Hawley made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Doran in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Ward Doran made a precise shot to the right of Duncan Hawley. CARCAMO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 62 minutes into the game, Golden Hills's Ward Doran nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Duncan Hawley made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. In the 66th minute, Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duncan Hawley. Duncan Hawley yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. After some careless play in the CARCAMO FC defense, Ward Doran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Duncan Hawley. The CARCAMO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duncan Hawley should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Stewart made in the 81st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Golden Hills's Jerold Brownell. After a rather tough play, Golden Hills's Sandy Hollandsworth got a free kick in the 93rd minute. In the 94th minute of the match Isaiah Abraham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Egil Östlund showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The CARCAMO FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Golden Hills were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
