Virgilio Kennedy might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomas Landry. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Virgilio Kennedy ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the Astrologer FC defense, Virgilio Kennedy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomas Landry. The Astrologer FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Landry should have stopped the shot. In the 11th match minute, Chard United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Kennedy to maneuver through the defense. Domenico Gallo hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute of the match Lukasz Jazwiec shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tomas Landry showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tomas Landry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy in the 21st minute of play. Randall Stevens stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richie Arnold's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. When Lamar Arthur came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Chard United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lamar Arthur couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Kennedy in the 30th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lamar Arthur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The corner led to Chard United's Lukasz Jazwiec getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Virgilio Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Landry didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Virgilio Kennedy went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Virgilio Kennedy to strike the kick off in the second half. Virgilio Kennedy struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tomas Landry didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chard United. Damon Blue hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Virgilio Kennedy put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Tomas Landry. Randall Stevens made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Alfred Mays sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Kennedy in the 63rd minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Kennedy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tomas Landry having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Kennedy in the 64th minute of play forced Astrologer FC's goalkeeper Tomas Landry to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Kennedy scored 5-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tomas Landry, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Chard United fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Chard United's Virgilio Kennedy looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Alfred Mays fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Randall Stevens having to interfere. Virgilio Kennedy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Tomas Landry tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Virgilio Kennedy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Landry showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Kennedy, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 孙骋磊 hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Randall Stevens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Richie Arnold showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 88 minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Alfred Mays had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Randall Stevens. Chard United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfred Mays was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abayhan Payidar during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Abayhan Payidar hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Chard United were the better team. Chard United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
