Jeffrey Russell might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phil Echols. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jeffrey Russell ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 10thth minute of the game Jeffrey Russell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barracks's Phil Echols was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute, Victor Stark hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Stark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban McNamara hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Rubin Skinner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phil Echols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubin Skinner, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Barracks's Phil Echols played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeffrey Russell in the 33rd minute of play. In the 37th minute of the game Tommy Hodges made a throw-in which Eli Dobbins played forward. Phil Echols showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeffrey Russell, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Stark to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, one of DOPING POSITIVO F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DOPING POSITIVO F.C.
