Yong Stapleton kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yong Stapleton got free with Dexter Stark in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tracy Friend fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Falcão having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brady Manning in the 25th minute of play forced Corning FC's goalkeeper Valdo Falcão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Correa kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Graig Hadley ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Valdo Falcão was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Erkan Horasan struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dexter Stark didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Corning FC. Valdo Falcão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Graig Hadley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdo Falcão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graig Hadley, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 36th minute, Corning FC's Erkan Horasan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dexter Stark. Dexter Stark yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. 43 minutes into the match, Brady Manning notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Corning FC's Valdo Falcão. Valdo Falcão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Graig Hadley to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Saks's goal looked a bit too open when Erkan Horasan came free, but Dexter Stark reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 87th play minutes Erkan Horasan shot 3-3, a short shot which went by Dexter Stark and just under the crossbar into goal. If Yong Stapleton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wesley Hoskins's late challenge caught a Corning FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Wesley Hoskins helped the player get up and apologised. Dexter Stark showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkan Horasan, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
