Seating: 1886, VIP seats: 164) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Logan Vogel got the match started through his kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Spiro's Gilberto Wilkins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of DeAndre Palacios. That made the score 1-0 after 5 minutes of play. White Sands's DeAndre Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Wilkins in the 9th minute of play. Gilberto Wilkins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeAndre Palacios having to interfere. A collision led to White Sands getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Alberto Fowler hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Jullian Goris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jullian Goris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but DeAndre Palacios made a huge save. 35 minutes into the game, Spiro's Jullian Goris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. DeAndre Palacios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. DeAndre Palacios was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Gilberto Wilkins capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Wilkins really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Logan Vogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thaddeus Broussard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. DeAndre Palacios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jullian Goris was the one to do the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Jullian Goris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but White Sands's DeAndre Palacios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 60th minute Tor Odin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but DeAndre Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jullian Goris in the 62nd minute of play forced White Sands's goalkeeper DeAndre Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the game, Spiro's Jullian Goris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. DeAndre Palacios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Gilberto Wilkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Spiro's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Wilkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. DeAndre Palacios breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. DeAndre Palacios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Wilkins in the 72nd minute of play. After 74 minutes White Sands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alistair Soto who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Spiro's Leland Sierra got a free kick in the 74th minute. The supporters of White Sands booed when Spiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chance Edmonds didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute Gilberto Wilkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but DeAndre Palacios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 89 minutes into the match, Spiro's Vito Whitt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that DeAndre Palacios narrowly saved just below the crossbar. DeAndre Palacios didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thaddeus Broussard went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Spiro were the better team. Spiro's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
