Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Keenan Blake started the match with the kick off. If Roland Fair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Keenan Blake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Monty Pepper was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Darron Messer struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Monty Pepper didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Junaluska FC. Darron Messer took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Monty Pepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darron Messer in the 20th minute of the match. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Keenan Blake in the 22nd minute of play. Monty Pepper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Pollard, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Hilario Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Cummins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in INTER MIAMI's zone, Darron Messer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monty Pepper came out of the goal and Darron Messer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute Joel Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Pepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Vernon Jarrell fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored INTER MIAMI's protests and gave Vernon Jarrell a yellow card for diving instead. Vernon Jarrell kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. A collision led to INTER MIAMI getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Zachary Albert hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Jonathon Frost shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Pepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, Lake Junaluska FC's Keenan Blake made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Monty Pepper was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 36 minutes, Keenan Blake made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Keenan Blake made a precise shot to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. In the 47th minute Joel Pollard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monty Pepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The INTER MIAMI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lake Junaluska FC were winning 0-6.

The wind increased when Ronny Cummins made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lee Shook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 54 minutes in the game, Keenan Blake fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Monty Pepper having to interfere. When Joel Pollard came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Lake Junaluska FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Pollard couldn't finish the play. Roland Fair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keenan Blake received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Monty Pepper came out and tried to block the shot, but Keenan Blake slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Lake Junaluska FC's Joel Pollard dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-8. Winston Sheppard took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Monty Pepper. Monty Pepper dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Darron Messer succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 71st playminute. Keenan Blake might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Monty Pepper. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keenan Blake ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel Pollard succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-11 in the 77th playminute. Toby Baxter kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Hilario Carro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roscoe Hurd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronny Cummins in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hilario Carro saved Lake Junaluska FC from getting behind. Monty Pepper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joel Pollard in the 90th minute. Weston Lackey charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Weston Lackey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd match minute, INTER MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Weston Lackey to maneuver through the defense.
