With a little luck, Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos got control of the ball when Joel Pollard tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Keenan Blake shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasey Amos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Lake Junaluska FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Fairchild came free, but Hilario Carro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Lake Junaluska FC's Keenan Blake nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Amos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Fairchild in the 16th minute of play forced Lake Junaluska FC's goalkeeper Hilario Carro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kasey Amos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Keenan Blake, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes into the match, Palos Verdes Estates's goal looked a bit too open when Keenan Blake came free, but Kasey Amos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keenan Blake received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kasey Amos came out and tried to block the shot, but Keenan Blake slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. In the 30th minute of the match, Joel Pollard got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kasey Amos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 39 minutes into the game, Keenan Blake lined in a short shot 4-0 behind a frustrated Kasey Amos. After having played for 44 minutes, Jonathon Frost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lake Junaluska FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathon Frost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Darron Messer notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos. Kasey Amos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Lake Junaluska FC's Joel Pollard got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Palos Verdes Estates's Wilson Fairchild got a free kick in the 55th minute. If Keenan Blake had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Lake Junaluska FC booed when Palos Verdes Estates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Harden didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Keenan Blake had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kasey Amos. Palos Verdes Estates's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Keenan Blake was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 69thth minute of the game Keenan Blake who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Jonathon Frost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Darron Messer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Joel Pollard made a precise shot to the right of Kasey Amos. Palos Verdes Estates's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After 85 minutes, Bronson Cage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palos Verdes Estates and the Lake Junaluska FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 84 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palos Verdes Estates! Cyrus Hamlin took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasey Amos. Kasey Amos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 10-0. Kasey Amos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cyrus Hamlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Winston Sheppard hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Cyrus Hamlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Kasey Amos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cyrus Hamlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 101st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Amos having to interfere.
