After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Long Yuan Ran managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Europa's supporters rose to their feet, but Long Yuan Ran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miomir Knežević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aírton Vianna during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 22nd minute, Brandon Worthington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Brandon Worthington notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sajokia's Miomir Knežević. After a rather tough play, Sajokia's Christiaan Bruyninckx got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 53rd minute of the match, Brandon Worthington tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Miomir Knežević saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FC Europa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
