Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aírton Vianna took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the game, Leon Hanley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palos Verdes Estates's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sajokia the free kick. A collision led to Palos Verdes Estates getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Leon Hanley hit a great ball. When Aírton Vianna came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sajokia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aírton Vianna couldn't finish the play. In the 6th minute, Sajokia's Julian Barrera seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Julian Barrera the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sajokia protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Julian Barrera had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 5 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sajokia! Miomir Knežević had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Errol Benoit's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Miomir Knežević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Harden, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. With his leg Miomir Knežević managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Palos Verdes Estates's Alfonzo Hudson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilfredo Harden in the 12th minute of play forced Sajokia's goalkeeper Miomir Knežević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 14thth minute of the game Nestor de Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miomir Knežević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Fairchild, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Miomir Knežević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Harden in the 21st minute of play. Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor de Barros in the 22nd minute of play. Sajokia's Miomir Knežević played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonzo Hudson in the 24th minute of play. Wilfredo Harden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Sajokia's goalkeeper Miomir Knežević had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wilson Fairchild. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor de Barros in the 29th minute of play forced Palos Verdes Estates's goalkeeper Kasey Amos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miomir Knežević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Harden, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 34 minutes into the game, Sajokia's Christiaan Bruyninckx nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Amos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Francis Nunez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sajokia getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Christiaan Bruyninckx hit a great ball. Aírton Vianna's late challenge caught a Palos Verdes Estates's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aírton Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Sajokia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilfredo Harden was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Palos Verdes Estates getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Alfonzo Hudson hit a great ball. When Wilson Fairchild came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Palos Verdes Estates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wilson Fairchild couldn't finish the play. Kasey Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aírton Vianna in the 62nd minute of play. Kasey Amos was out of position in the 69 minute of play, and Aírton Vianna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aírton Vianna really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Sajokia's D.J. Gaston was substituted for Deshawn Ash. Christiaan Bruyninckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Kasey Amos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sajokia's Simon Wang got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 74th minute Wilfredo Harden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miomir Knežević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miomir Knežević came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Palos Verdes Estates's Alfonzo Hudson. But to his dismay, Alfonzo Hudson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After 84 played minutes Aírton Vianna rounded Palos Verdes Estates's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. In the 88th minute, Matt Mayes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfonzo Hudson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 89 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Miomir Knežević right hand side. Chants of Sajokia echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Palos Verdes Estates had held the ball for most of the match.
