Kasey Amos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Palos Verdes Estates's Kasey Amos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kory Leal in the 13th minute of play. If Wilson Fairchild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 19 minutes into the game, Delmont's Jiang Ao Yu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kasey Amos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Ted Siggesson scored 0-4 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Amos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kasey Amos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kory Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Kasey Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Siggesson in the 29th minute of play. When Delmont's Kory Leal in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Jiang Ao Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Amos having to interfere. The Palos Verdes Estates players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Delmont were winning 0-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kory Leal was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Ted Siggesson got a very nice opportunity to score, but Kasey Amos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Allen Bellamy took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasey Amos. Kasey Amos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. 57 minutes into the match, Palos Verdes Estates's goalkeeper Kasey Amos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ted Siggesson. 60 minutes into the game, Jiang Ao Yu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kasey Amos. Jiang Ao Yu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-8. In the 64th minute, Delmont's Ted Siggesson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kasey Amos. Kasey Amos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. In the 69th minute, Delmont's Evandro Cabral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10. Kasey Amos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anton Cuevas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-11 in the 73 minute of play. Kasey Amos was a little too slow when Jiang Ao Yu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-12. 93 minutes into the match, Palos Verdes Estates's goalkeeper Kasey Amos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kory Leal.
