Spectators: 8040 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 100) Emery Faulk started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Brock Delong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in INTER MIAMI's zone, Logan Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monty Pepper came out of the goal and Logan Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. INTER MIAMI's Vernon Jarrell got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 11th match minute, INTER MIAMI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roscoe Hurd to maneuver through the defense. Roland Fair recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roland Fair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klara Kent having to interfere. Orangeburg's Klara Kent played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roland Fair in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to INTER MIAMI getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Casey Beard hit a great ball. INTER MIAMI's Monty Pepper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save INTER MIAMI from getting a goal against them. 27 minutes into the match, Emery Faulk had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Monty Pepper. INTER MIAMI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emery Faulk was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvin Fields in the 34th minute of play forced Orangeburg's goalkeeper Klara Kent to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Logan Suarez's late challenge caught a INTER MIAMI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Logan Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Orangeburg getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Logan Suarez hit a great ball. Ronny Cummins might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Klara Kent. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ronny Cummins ran back to his position shaking his head. 40 minutes into the game, Gökmen Tolay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Orangeburg's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave INTER MIAMI the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of Orangeburg:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of INTER MIAMI:s goal. The referee gave INTER MIAMI a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roland Fair, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Orangeburg's Klara Kent. 1-1. Klara Kent took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Cummins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toby Baxter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronny Cummins stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brendan Bachman hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Orangeburg's Klara Kent got control of the ball when Roland Fair tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Orangeburg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cason Addison to maneuver through the defense. After 58 minutes, Roland Fair made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Orangeburg's Klara Kent tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Ronny Cummins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lamar Armstrong charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lamar Armstrong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ronny Cummins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Klara Kent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play Orangeburg's Logan Suarez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ronny Cummins who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Klara Kent when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ronny Cummins's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 84thth minute, Klara Kent skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Lee Shook put in a rough tackle. 85 minutes into the game, one of INTER MIAMI:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Monty Pepper came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Orangeburg's Emery Faulk. But to his dismay, Emery Faulk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. If Ronny Cummins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 92nd minute by Roscoe Hurd got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Monty Pepper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brock Delong in the 94th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Brock Delong managed to get in a good position for a shot. Orangeburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Brock Delong was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monty Pepper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over INTER MIAMI could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Orangeburg throughout the match.
