Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Wilfredo Harden made the kick off and thus started the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonzo Hudson in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Spencer Clay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 9 minutes, Zane Ferrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wayne Winners and the Palos Verdes Estates players grew even worse after the yellow card. Zane Ferrell hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute of the match Errol Benoit shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Spencer Clay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Kasey Amos managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Wayne Winners's Cedric Covington fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Palos Verdes Estates's Alfonzo Hudson got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wilson Fairchild recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Spencer Clay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfonzo Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The supporters of Palos Verdes Estates booed when Wayne Winners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reinaldo Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cedric Covington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Kasey Amos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willie Bridges in the 39th minute of play forced Palos Verdes Estates's goalkeeper Kasey Amos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cedric Covington's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kasey Amos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Caleb Bernard charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Caleb Bernard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 43rd minute, Caleb Bernard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francis Nunez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Spencer Clay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Harden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willie Bridges made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, Errol Benoit was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palos Verdes Estates's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wayne Winners the free kick. The supporters of Wayne Winners booed when Palos Verdes Estates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Errol Benoit didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Willie Bridges managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wayne Winners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willie Bridges was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Errol Benoit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Spencer Clay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Alfonzo Hudson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Cedric Covington shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasey Amos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kasey Amos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Bernard in the 77th minute of play. Palos Verdes Estates's Errol Benoit got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Wayne Winners's Caleb Bernard got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Wilfredo Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Spencer Clay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Wayne Winners players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
