Spectators: 8467 (Terracing: 6351, Seating: 1947, VIP seats: 169) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bradly Leach got the match started through his kick off. Bradly Leach succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Dexter Ogden had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rufus Phipps. THe Last Indian's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dexter Ogden was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bernie Waldron struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Rufus Phipps didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Houston Fire F.C.. 9 minutes into the game, Houston Fire F.C.'s A.J. Hanks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rufus Phipps made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Rufus Phipps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dexter Ogden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by THe Last Indian's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Heriberto McPherson was slow to take the kick. During this time Houston Fire F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Heriberto McPherson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Rufus Phipps quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Deshawn Steiner in the 15th minute of play forced THe Last Indian's goalkeeper Rufus Phipps to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Bradly Leach fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Brice Copeland, passed just outside the right post. In the 30th minute, Pascal Frost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Cory Ivey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rufus Phipps showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from A.J. Hanks, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 36 minutes of play, Houston Fire F.C.'s Dexter Ogden made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rufus Phipps was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rufus Phipps came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Houston Fire F.C.'s Dexter Ogden. But to his dismay, Dexter Ogden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. In the 44th minute A.J. Hanks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rufus Phipps saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brice Copeland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pascal Frost in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

In the 56th minute, Pascal Frost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dexter Ogden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Rufus Phipps made a huge save. Brice Copeland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Frost in the 62nd minute of play. Dexter Ogden scored 1-6 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rufus Phipps, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. THe Last Indian made a substitution. Bartolo Mark replaced Jim Sligter. THe Last Indian's Chris Brannon was substituted for Tanner Holman. A collision led to Houston Fire F.C. getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Blalock hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bradly Leach in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brice Copeland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Bradly Leach put it in 2-6 from a short distance just to the right of Brice Copeland. 87 minutes into the match, THe Last Indian's goal looked a bit too open when Deshawn Steiner came free, but Rufus Phipps reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Houston Fire F.C.'s Brice Copeland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradly Leach in the 92nd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Bradly Leach managed to get in a good position for a shot. THe Last Indian's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradly Leach was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Brice Copeland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Houston Fire F.C. played a much better game than THe Last Indian and deserved their victory. The THe Last Indian players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
