Victor Sotil was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. MERKEL IS BEST's Victor Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Jansson in the 8th minute of play. A collision led to MERKEL IS BEST getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Joaquin Sorensen hit a great ball. Victor Sotil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charlie Jansson in the 15th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Rory Wagner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huestes de Excalibur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rory Wagner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, MERKEL IS BEST's Victor Sotil got control of the ball when Charlie Jansson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Quinn Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Quinn Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Quinn Rossi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by MERKEL IS BEST's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rory Wagner was slow to take the kick. During this time Huestes de Excalibur's players had a chance to rest. Charlie Jansson was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 35 minutes into the match, MERKEL IS BEST's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Jansson came free, but Victor Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Huestes de Excalibur were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after MERKEL IS BEST's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rory Wagner took the corner. After 40 minutes of play, MERKEL IS BEST's Thorsten Klemm made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Moisés Nóbrega was left in no man's land by his defense there! MERKEL IS BEST's Victor Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Umur Torhan in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, one of MERKEL IS BEST:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MERKEL IS BEST. In the 46th minute there was a penalty for Huestes de Excalibur. Nicholas Mata stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Victor Sotil. 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mickey Edmondson to make the kick off. MERKEL IS BEST's Victor Sotil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rory Wagner in the 54th minute of play. After 55 minutes of play, Huestes de Excalibur's Umur Torhan made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Victor Sotil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 59 minutes, Mickey Edmondson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MERKEL IS BEST and the Huestes de Excalibur players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 60 played minutes MERKEL IS BEST got a freekick which was hit by Mickey Edmondson. 61 minutes into the game, Tonček Kraljič cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Victor Sotil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 64th minute, Umur Torhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 66 minutes into the match, MERKEL IS BEST's goal looked a bit too open when Tuan Lindsay came free, but Victor Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Sotil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlie Jansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, MERKEL IS BEST's goal looked a bit too open when Umur Torhan came free, but Victor Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rory Wagner in the 70th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umur Torhan in the 78th minute of play forced MERKEL IS BEST's goalkeeper Victor Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victor Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Umur Torhan in the 80th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonček Kraljič in the 84th minute of play forced MERKEL IS BEST's goalkeeper Victor Sotil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tonček Kraljič scored 7-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Victor Sotil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Huestes de Excalibur made a substitution. Jerold Dunn replaced Hayden Gaines. Charlie Jansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute.
