Jonathon Mabry started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes South Charleston FC got a freekick which was hit by Casey Langley. Jefferson Norton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Team NCIS getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Mitch Dickey hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Team NCIS's zone, Hector Solis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrod McElroy came out of the goal and Hector Solis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 0-1 became the score in the 13th minute when Thanh Walls elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Jerrod McElroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jefferson Norton in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Casey Langley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Norton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The supporters of Team NCIS booed when South Charleston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Casey Langley didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, South Charleston FC's Jefferson Norton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jerrod McElroy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanh Walls struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Truman Hinson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Team NCIS. Jerrod McElroy made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Jefferson Norton sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Hector Solis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerrod McElroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Jefferson Norton reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jerrod McElroy. The goal made the score 1-1. Truman Hinson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thanh Walls in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Team NCIS's Nigel Croft got a free kick in the 47th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th match minute, Team NCIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tad Kelley to maneuver through the defense. Jerrod McElroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Solis in the 55th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, Team NCIS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Ferris to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Team NCIS defense, Hector Solis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerrod McElroy. The Team NCIS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerrod McElroy should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jefferson Norton in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerrod McElroy saved Team NCIS from getting behind. Thanh Walls sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerrod McElroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Solis in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of South Charleston FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Team NCIS:s goal. Tommy Hanna placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! 88 minutes into the game, Tad Kelley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Team NCIS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Charleston FC the free kick. Jerrod McElroy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Norton in the 98th minute of the match. Thanh Walls could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 99th minute of the match, but Truman Hinson made a huge save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
