In the 3rd minute, Umur Torhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hayden Loyd charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayden Loyd the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes Huestes de Excalibur got a freekick which was hit by Hayden Loyd. Mendenhall FC's Ivan Oberle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Mendenhall FC from getting a goal against them. Mendenhall FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 10th minute, when Umur Torhan scored to the left of an out of position Ivan Oberle, making the score, 1-0. Ivan Oberle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umur Torhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Hayden Loyd came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Huestes de Excalibur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hayden Loyd couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Hayden Loyd fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ivan Oberle, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Mendenhall FC defense, Umur Torhan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivan Oberle. The Mendenhall FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Oberle should have stopped the shot. Charlie Jansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Mendenhall FC's goalkeeper Ivan Oberle had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Umur Torhan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Umur Torhan in the 39th minute of play forced Mendenhall FC's goalkeeper Ivan Oberle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Marlon Koenig cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Moisés Nóbrega was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

Huestes de Excalibur made a substitution. Nicholas Mata replaced Umur Torhan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nicholas Mata made a kick off. Mendenhall FC's Ivan Oberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Mata in the 54th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Huestes de Excalibur's goalkeeper Moisés Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marlon Koenig. Ivan Oberle came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Huestes de Excalibur's Nicholas Mata. But to his dismay, Nicholas Mata quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 61st minute Nicholas Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Oberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mendenhall FC's Ivan Oberle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicholas Mata in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute Nicholas Mata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Oberle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Nicholas Mata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huestes de Excalibur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. After a defensive mix-up in Mendenhall FC's zone, Hayden Loyd stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Oberle came out of the goal and Hayden Loyd tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mendenhall FC made a substitution. Kevin Wallace replaced Richie Carney. Mendenhall FC made a substitution. Claudio Fitzpatrick replaced Kerry Middleton. 76 minutes into the game, Nicholas Mata cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-1. Ivan Oberle was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 79th minute, Nicholas Mata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Oberle was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. 82 minutes into the game, Thomas Christian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mendenhall FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Huestes de Excalibur the free kick. After a rather tough play, Mendenhall FC's Thomas Christian got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Tanner Baltazars short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Moisés Nóbrega to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ivan Oberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Mata in the 97th minute of the match. Huestes de Excalibur walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
