Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5584, Seating: 1875, VIP seats: 50) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jed Gilmore took the kick off in the first half of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jed Gilmore in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nick Ervin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 7 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dominique White came free, but Fletcher Huffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Del Clements fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nick Ervin having to interfere. Fletcher Huffman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darin McAlpin went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Woodrow Carrier fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soldotna's protests and gave Woodrow Carrier a yellow card for diving instead. Woodrow Carrier hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Jacques Wade's late challenge caught a Soldotna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacques Wade helped the player get up and apologised. Fletcher Huffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darin McAlpin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes into the game, Dominique White cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Fletcher Huffman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Dominique White came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Soldotna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominique White couldn't finish the play. When Soldotna's Darin McAlpin in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grimes FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dominique White sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fletcher Huffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominique White in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dominique White made a kick off. When Dominique White fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The supporters of Grimes FC booed when Soldotna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominique White didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dominique White in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fletcher Huffman, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 59 minutes into the game, Dominique White recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fletcher Huffman. Dominique White showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. Darin McAlpin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brady Ivy charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Brady Ivy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Brady Ivy kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Darin McAlpin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominique White sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nick Ervin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jed Gilmore in the 69th minute of the match. Fletcher Huffman made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dominique White sent off a good shot on target. Alexander Brandt hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. The supporters of Soldotna booed when Grimes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacques Wade didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Darin McAlpin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Grimes FC's zone, Dominique White stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fletcher Huffman came out of the goal and Dominique White tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Grimes FC booed when Soldotna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darin McAlpin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Wilford Nunez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Grimes FC's Fletcher Huffman got control of the ball when Wilford Nunez tried to sneak it across the goal line.
