After 6 minutes of play, Inter Miami's Diego Burch made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fletcher Huffman was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Hood. Fletcher Huffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Burch in the 11th minute of the match. 19 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Burch came free, but Fletcher Huffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fletcher Huffman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Burch's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute, Diego Burch left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Inter Miami fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Fletcher Huffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Burch in the 27th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play, Inter Miami's Rodolfo Hood made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fletcher Huffman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rodolfo Hood received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Fletcher Huffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Inter Miami's Nicky Nichols nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fletcher Huffman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. 38 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Nichols came free, but Fletcher Huffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grimes FC's Fletcher Huffman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Burch in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute Rodolfo Hood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fletcher Huffman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Burch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fletcher Huffman having to interfere. 47 minutes into the game, Nicky Nichols cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Fletcher Huffman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The attack was good, but when Nicky Nichols in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Diego Burch's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Fletcher Huffman firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 55th match minute, Grimes FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Myles Burke to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Hood who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 56thth minute tested the skills of Fletcher Huffman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A sloppy throw-in by Esteban Marrero in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Inter Miami's Dwight Krause. After 65 played minutes Inter Miami got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Hood. Diego Burch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Fletcher Huffman made a huge save. 68 minutes into the game, Nicky Nichols cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Fletcher Huffman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 72 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's goalkeeper Fletcher Huffman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Burch. Fletcher Huffman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Burch's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. The supporters of Inter Miami booed when Grimes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jed Gilmore didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's goalkeeper Fletcher Huffman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodolfo Hood. Fletcher Huffman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Nichols in the 80th minute of play. Fletcher Huffman was a little too slow when Rodolfo Hood got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 0-8. Fletcher Huffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Hood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fletcher Huffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Nichols in the 87th minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Rodolfo Hood ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fletcher Huffman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. A collision led to Inter Miami getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Mohammad Souza hit a great ball. 98 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's Del Clements sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Riley Moss narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Inter Miami's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
