Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jack Huang in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Freddie Farris prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Freddie Farris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jack Huang in the 17th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, Cali Pumas FC's Jack Huang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Freddie Farris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cali Pumas FC's Isidro Humphries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Burger in the 22nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Vern Bowles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Humphries saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Humphries made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vern Bowles in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes into the game, Leonardo Walls was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rebel Squids's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cali Pumas FC the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Huang made a kick off. Jack Huang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Farris having to interfere. Harry Schumacher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Farris having to interfere. Isidro Humphries came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rebel Squids's Vern Bowles. But to his dismay, Vern Bowles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rebel Squids's Freddie Farris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Huang in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Cali Pumas FC were awarded a corner. Bronson Tang went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jack Huang in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Freddie Farris saved Rebel Squids from getting behind. After 65 played minutes Rebel Squids got a freekick which was hit by Brent Sellers. With his leg Freddie Farris managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Cali Pumas FC's Harry Schumacher fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Freddie Farris didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jack Huang went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Isidro Humphries showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darin Gustafson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Rebel Squids's Freddie Farris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jack Huang in the 90th minute of play. If Harry Schumacher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
