Spectators: 8441 (Terracing: 6332, Seating: 1941, VIP seats: 168) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Louis Wyatt got the match started through his kick off. Dexter Post came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chivas USA's Juan Charro. But to his dismay, Juan Charro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. If Juan Charro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dexter Post didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 3-0. After 16 played minutes Pedro De Gracia rounded Futabu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. Futabu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Juan Charro scored to the left of an out of position Dexter Post, making the score, 5-0. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Skwira could shoot a difficult shot in the 26th minute, which Dexter Post however easily saved by the left post. Futabu's Dexter Post proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Futabu from getting a goal against them. Teo Leguizamón scored 6-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dexter Post, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 45th minute, Louis Wyatt made a precise shot to the right of Dursun Ali Arısal. Chivas USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teo Leguizamón to strike the kick off in the second half. Louis Wyatt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dexter Post showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Charro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 64 played minutes Chivas USA got a freekick which was hit by Reyes Jean. Louis Wyatt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Dursun Ali Arısal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 68 minutes, Roman Boyer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futabu and the Chivas USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Futabu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roman Boyer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 69 minutes, Igor Skwira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chivas USA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Skwira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute Juan Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dexter Post saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Futabu's Dexter Post played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Leguizamón in the 78th minute of play. Roman Boyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dursun Ali Arısal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teo Leguizamón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Chivas USA booed when Futabu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graig Randall didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Louis Wyatt in the 96th minute of play forced Chivas USA's goalkeeper Dursun Ali Arısal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Chivas USA fully deserved thier win.
