If Isaltino Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, Jarvis McLaughlin made a precise shot to the right of Fletcher Huffman. Grimes FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Jarvis McLaughlin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Fletcher Huffman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jed Gilmore fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grimes FC's protests and gave Jed Gilmore a yellow card for diving instead. In the 21st minute, Jed Gilmore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 25 minutes into the match, Grimes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jarvis McLaughlin came free, but Fletcher Huffman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Marrero made in the 26th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Adalberto Hines however managed to control. Gerrit Cronen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jed Gilmore's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Lamar MacDonald might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fletcher Huffman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lamar MacDonald ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Grimes FC's Lloyd Loyd got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes of play, Tango en Miami FC's Bernabe Bazo made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fletcher Huffman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Izydor Trela took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fletcher Huffman. Fletcher Huffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Bazo in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fletcher Huffman saved Grimes FC from getting behind. In the 47th match minute, Tango en Miami FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lamar MacDonald to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Jed Gilmore made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Izydor Trela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tango en Miami FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Fletcher Huffman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Bazo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarvis McLaughlin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fletcher Huffman having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Bernabe Bazo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fletcher Huffman was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Tango en Miami FC were awarded a corner in the 68th minute after Grimes FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Izydor Trela took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Rudolf Sherman heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Rudolf Sherman charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rudolf Sherman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 69 played minutes Tango en Miami FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudolf Sherman. In the 71st minute, Bernabe Bazo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tango en Miami FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-9. In the 77th minute, Anton Hood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Tango en Miami FC's Izydor Trela tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Fletcher Huffman was a little too slow when Bernabe Bazo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-10. If Lamar MacDonald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Izydor Trela took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fletcher Huffman. Fletcher Huffman dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-11. The supporters of Tango en Miami FC booed when Grimes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Marrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fletcher Huffman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Bazo in the 91st minute of the match. Tango en Miami FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
