In the 11th minute, Maximino Guifre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emerson Recife. The goal made the score 1-0. Cornelio Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 王川洲, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saṃsāra Social Club's Cornelio Celipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Normando Carreira in the 20th minute of play. Cornelio Celipe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Heriberto Rudd in the 23rd minute of the match. Cornelio Celipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 王川洲, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Emerson Recife made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alvaro Lartaun sent off a good shot on target. If Alvaro Lartaun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cornelio Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Rudd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Maximino Guifre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Saṃsāra Social Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 39 minutes into the match, Lincolnwood's goalkeeper Emerson Recife had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Guifre. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximino Guifre got free with Emerson Recife in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kenney Aasum in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Celipe saved Saṃsāra Social Club from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabiën van der Bij got free with Emerson Recife in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cornelio Celipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Normando Carreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alvaro Lartaun came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Saṃsāra Social Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Lartaun couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Normando Carreira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Maximino Guifre made a precise shot to the right of Emerson Recife. Lincolnwood's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Emerson Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Guifre in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Normando Carreira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cornelio Celipe. Saṃsāra Social Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Normando Carreira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 60th minute Maximino Guifre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Guifre in the 64th minute of play forced Lincolnwood's goalkeeper Emerson Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Milan McCollum's late challenge caught a Lincolnwood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Milan McCollum helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Saṃsāra Social Club getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Milan McCollum hit a great ball. Saṃsāra Social Club made a substitution. Heriberto London replaced Milan McCollum. In the 68th match minute, Saṃsāra Social Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan McCollum to maneuver through the defense. The attack was good, but when Maximino Guifre in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Saṃsāra Social Club made a substitution. Young Draper replaced Darius Thomason. 74 minutes into the match, Lincolnwood's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Lartaun came free, but Emerson Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emerson Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Guifre in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Saṃsāra Social Club were awarded a corner. Leonardo Wilcox went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Claudiu Zăhărescu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emerson Recife quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Saṃsāra Social Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leonardo Wilcox in the 81st minute. Through an outstanding action, after 87 minutes, Cornelio Celipe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Heriberto Rudds short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Cornelio Celipe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emerson Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Guifre in the 95th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Saṃsāra Social Club fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lincolnwood had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
