When the match clock showed 3 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Eldon Potts sped through USA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Valle. 7 minutes into the game, Jose Irizarry was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. USA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scum Utd the free kick. In the 7th minute, Jose Irizarry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Manuel Keene notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of USA's Rafael Valle. Rafael Valle was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tom Kyle had in the 26thth minute some difficulties stopping Walton Blount's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The supporters of Scum Utd booed when USA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dane Quinones didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tom Kyle made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Darren Shipp sent off a good shot on target. Rafael Valle came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Scum Utd's Eldon Potts. But to his dismay, Eldon Potts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Scum Utd's Manuel Keene got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Valle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eldon Potts in the 40th minute of play. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Eldon Potts sped through USA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Rafael Valle. Eldon Potts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Rafael Valle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Scum Utd were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Danial Vega to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes USA got a freekick which was hit by Darren Shipp. After 52 played minutes Eldon Potts could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 0-6 into the left cross. Eldon Potts had several of the USA's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 56 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Rafael Valle as he didn't even see the shot coming. If Eldon Potts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scum Utd's Tom Kyle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Danial Vega in the 67th minute of play. Rafael Valle didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Everett Burke went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. Manuel Keene might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rafael Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel Keene ran back to his position shaking his head. Ali Bernal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The USA fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Scum Utd were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
