Connor Gee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonah Bates having to make a save. After some careless play in the Southside USA defense, Teobaldo Soldevila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonah Bates. The Southside USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonah Bates should have stopped the shot. In the 32nd minute, Eduardo Stjohn ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonah Bates was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Vicente Haynes lost his temper 35 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Southside USA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Allen Locke hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Gee in the 46th minute of play forced Southside USA's goalkeeper Jonah Bates to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonah Bates was a little too slow when Ronny Chapman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 70th minute. The score was now 0-7. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfonso Givens got free with Jonah Bates in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 73 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Soldevila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonah Bates. Southside USA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Teobaldo Soldevila was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-8. In the 76th minute, Xavier Sierra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduardo Stjohn during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eduardo Stjohn hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. When Connor Gee fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Westville's protests and gave Connor Gee a yellow card for diving instead. Connor Gee kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Playo Moreno in the 84th minute of play forced Westville's goalkeeper Merlin Jarrett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
