Seating: 1943, VIP seats: 150) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marshall Hahn started the match with the kick off. Heriberto Rudd's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wade Hightower read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 3rd minute of play. In the 4th match minute, Los Angeles Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Wade Hightower made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Heriberto Rudd sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles Galaxy's Namık Kemal Dersu got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute, Santos Chapman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Heriberto Rudd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wade Hightower. Los Angeles Galaxy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heriberto Rudd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Wade Hightower showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heriberto Rudd, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Wade Hightower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Normando Carreira in the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Rudd got free with Wade Hightower in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Rudd in the 27th minute of play. Los Angeles Galaxy's Wade Hightower proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Los Angeles Galaxy from getting a goal against them. 30 minutes into the match, Lincolnwood's goal looked a bit too open when Namık Kemal Dersu came free, but Emerson Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Los Angeles Galaxy's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Carreira came free, but Wade Hightower reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th match minute, Los Angeles Galaxy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alistair Koehler to maneuver through the defense. Kenney Aasum sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Marshall Hahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Normando Carreira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wade Hightower, 2-0. Wade Hightower took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heriberto Rudd, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Normando Carreira to strike the kick off in the second half. Wade Hightower didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Heriberto Rudd went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 57th minute, Normando Carreira made a precise shot to the right of Wade Hightower. Los Angeles Galaxy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 61st minute Victor Coley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emerson Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marshall Hahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Emerson Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Angeles Galaxy made a substitution. Harrie Dillemans replaced Alan Hardin. Los Angeles Galaxy's Wade Hightower played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Aasum in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los Angeles Galaxy's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rayman Porras was slow to take the kick. During this time Lincolnwood's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Rayman Porras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wade Hightower quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Wade Hightower stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Normando Carreira's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Rudd in the 78th minute of play. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Normando Carreira in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute Kenney Aasum shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wade Hightower saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Normando Carreira left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lincolnwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Lincolnwood's Rayman Porras got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Los Angeles Galaxy's Wade Hightower played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kenney Aasum in the 89th minute of play. After 92 played minutes Los Angeles Galaxy got a freekick which was hit by Rafa Loyola. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lincolnwood fully deserved thier win.
