The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the game, Victor Coley was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Angeles Galaxy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saṃsāra Social Club the free kick. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Maximino Guifre put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Wade Hightower. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Lartaun in the 10th minute of play. A collision led to Los Angeles Galaxy getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Al Mims hit a great ball. Wade Hightower stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Guifre's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Cedric Scales kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Wade Hightower showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Guifre, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Cornelio Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Coley in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Victor Coley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Celipe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Saṃsāra Social Club's Fabiën van der Bij made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wade Hightower was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cornelio Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Coley in the 29th minute of play. Cornelio Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Mims in the 31st minute of play. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiën van der Bij in the 32nd minute of play. Wade Hightower came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Saṃsāra Social Club's Alvaro Lartaun. But to his dismay, Alvaro Lartaun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Wade Hightower made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Guifre in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Guifre in the 40th minute of play forced Los Angeles Galaxy's goalkeeper Wade Hightower to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvaro Lartaun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marshall Hahn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cornelio Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wade Hightower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabiën van der Bij in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Namık Kemal Dersu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Saṃsāra Social Club's Fabiën van der Bij dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 56 minutes into the game, Maximino Guifre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Wade Hightower was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Wade Hightower made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Fabiën van der Bij sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Maximino Guifre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wade Hightower was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. After 71 minutes of play, Saṃsāra Social Club's Alvaro Lartaun made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wade Hightower was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saṃsāra Social Club made a substitution. Young Draper replaced Darius Thomason. After a rather tough play, Los Angeles Galaxy's Ernie Cotton got a free kick in the 79th minute. With an all-out effort, Saṃsāra Social Club's Wade Hightower threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Alvaro Lartaun, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Wade Hightower made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Maximino Guifre sent off a good shot on target. Los Angeles Galaxy's Wade Hightower proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Los Angeles Galaxy from getting a goal against them. 95 minutes into the match, Saṃsāra Social Club's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Coley came free, but Cornelio Celipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Saṃsāra Social Club could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Angeles Galaxy throughout the match.
