A collision led to Banfield FI getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Quinton Rivers hit a great ball. Manuel Keene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Scum Utd's Everett Burke got a free kick in the 26th minute. Scum Utd's Tom Kyle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Scum Utd from getting a goal against them. Tom Kyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quinton Rivers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. When Banfield FI's Quinton Rivers in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Quinton Rivers in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Kyle saved Scum Utd from getting behind. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elequemedo Vinambres during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elequemedo Vinambres hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Banfield FI's Markus Bachman got control of the ball when Manuel Keene tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tom Kyle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinton Rivers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurício Roriz shot the penalty kick right outside the post. 67 minutes into the match, Banfield FI's goal looked a bit too open when Everett Burke came free, but Markus Bachman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Banfield FI's zone, Eldon Potts stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Bachman came out of the goal and Eldon Potts tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, Scum Utd's goal looked a bit too open when Quinton Rivers came free, but Tom Kyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Bachman came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Scum Utd's Everett Burke. But to his dismay, Everett Burke quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Eldon Potts kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Scum Utd's Tracy Hill quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Matthew Dotson, made in the 80th minute of the game. Everett Burke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Bachman having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Banfield FI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Fisher to maneuver through the defense. Eldon Potts who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Markus Bachman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Stan Craft managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banfield FI's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Craft was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tom Kyle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 98 minutes into the game, Leon Ledochowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banfield FI's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scum Utd the free kick. In the 98th minute, Leon Ledochowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
