Seating: 1959, VIP seats: 150) After some careless play in the Banfield FI defense, Heriberto Rudd kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Markus Bachman. The Banfield FI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Markus Bachman should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Heriberto Rudd reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Markus Bachman. The goal made the score 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Banfield FI's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Rudd came free, but Markus Bachman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the game, Heriberto Rudd cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Markus Bachman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Rudd got free with Markus Bachman in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stan Craft charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stan Craft the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Banfield FI got a freekick which was hit by Stan Craft. Markus Bachman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heriberto Rudd in the 25th minute. Kris Erapart kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Normando Carreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Bachman having to interfere. When Banfield FI's Quinton Rivers in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lincolnwood's goalie prevented a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Banfield FI's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Carreira came free, but Markus Bachman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markus Bachman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Normando Carreira's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Kenney Aasum managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lincolnwood's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenney Aasum was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Markus Bachman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Heriberto Rudd could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Markus Bachman made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Lincolnwood's Severiano Resende got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute, Lincolnwood's Kenney Aasum dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Quinton Rivers made the kick off in the second half. A well-hit corner resulted in Heriberto Rudd heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Quinton Rivers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Len McAllister got free with Emerson Recife in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 67 minutes into the match, Heriberto Rudd had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Markus Bachman. Banfield FI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Heriberto Rudd was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. The supporters of Lincolnwood booed when Banfield FI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Craft didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 71 minutes of play, Lincolnwood's Normando Carreira made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Markus Bachman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quinton Rivers hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 80 minutes into the match, Banfield FI's goal looked a bit too open when Normando Carreira came free, but Markus Bachman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Banfield FI's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rayman Porras was slow to take the kick. During this time Lincolnwood's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Heriberto Rudd got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Markus Bachman quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Normando Carreira in the 85th minute of play forced Banfield FI's goalkeeper Markus Bachman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Normando Carreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heriberto Rudd in the 94th minute of play forced Banfield FI's goalkeeper Markus Bachman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 97 played minutes Lincolnwood got a freekick which was hit by Normando Carreira. Lincolnwood walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
