The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 7 minutes of play, Lincolnwood's Normando Carreira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonah Bates was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, Southside USA's goal looked a bit too open when 王川洲 came free, but Jonah Bates reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 12 minutes into the game, Lincolnwood's Heriberto Rudd nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonah Bates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kenney Aasum in the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Southside USA getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Jordan Egan hit a great ball. Jonah Bates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heriberto Rudd, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Cote to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Rudd got free with Jonah Bates in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Southside USA's Jonah Bates got control of the ball when 王川洲 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Heriberto Rudd succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 56th playminute. Southside USA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. Rayman Porras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Heriberto Rudd dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jonah Bates, 0-10. Southside USA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 75th minute, when 王川洲 scored to the left of an out of position Jonah Bates, making the score, 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenney Aasum got free with Jonah Bates in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 78 minutes Southside USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rayman Porras who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Rayman Porras got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Jonah Bates quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Rudd got free with Jonah Bates in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes, Playo Moreno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Southside USA and the Lincolnwood players grew even worse after the yellow card. Playo Moreno kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Normando Carreira put it in 0-12 from a short distance just to the right of Jonah Bates. When Lincolnwood's Normando Carreira in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Southside USA's goalie prevented a goal. In the 87th minute of the match, Kenney Aasum got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jonah Bates was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Southside USA's Jonah Bates got control of the ball when Heriberto Rudd tried to sneak it across the goal line.
