Ruthless Rovers's Kip Blount got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. J.C. Barker came out of the goal and Wladyslaw Nieruchliwy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elvis Thomas got free with J.C. Barker in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Walker Pugh kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kip Blount in the 75th minute of play forced Wellford AFC's goalkeeper J.C. Barker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Elvis Thomas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of J.C.
