Black Sails FC's Craig Velazquez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Black Sails FC from getting a goal against them. In the 3rd minute, one of Black Sails FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Black Sails FC. Allen Stover placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 9th match minute, Black Sails FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordon Justice to maneuver through the defense. When Gordon Justice fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Sails FC's protests and gave Gordon Justice a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Black Sails FC got a freekick which was hit by Gordon Justice. After 12 played minutes Neil Landis scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Craig Velazquez who was too lazy, 1-0. Emery Couch showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donnie Ragland, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Neil Landis got free with Craig Velazquez in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kerry Hudson in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Craig Velazquez saved Black Sails FC from getting behind. Kerry Hudson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Craig Velazquez made a huge save. Donnie Ragland succeeded in the game's 29th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. After 32 played minutes Girth FC got a freekick which was hit by Van Poole. Donnie Ragland's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emery Couch read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Craig Velazquez made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Allen Stover sent off a good shot on target. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Hudson in the 41st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Black Sails FC's Dominique Polk got a free kick in the 43rd minute. After 45 played minutes Black Sails FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Burns. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kerry Hudson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Neil Landis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Velazquez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Craig Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerry Hudson in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Craig Velazquez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Donnie Ragland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Girth FC's Kerry Hudson in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Sails FC's goalie prevented a goal. Craig Velazquez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Landis in the 66th minute of play. Craig Velazquez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kerry Hudson in the 67th minute of the match. After having played for 68 minutes, Allen Stover managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Girth FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Allen Stover was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Craig Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kerry Hudson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jimmy Barnard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Black Sails FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Barnard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emery Couch breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allen Stover in the 75th minute of play forced Black Sails FC's goalkeeper Craig Velazquez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Craig Velazquez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerry Hudson, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Craig Velazquez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Landis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute, Donnie Ragland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Craig Velazquez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Neil Landis's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. After having played for 82 minutes, Donnie Ragland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Black Sails FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donnie Ragland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85thth minute of the game Donnie Ragland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Girth FC's Emery Couch was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Neil Landis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Craig Velazquez having to interfere. When Denver Burton fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Girth FC's protests and gave Denver Burton a yellow card for diving instead. Black Sails FC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Girth FC had controlled the match.
