The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, GKS Łapsze Niżne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Scottie Saucedo to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Stovall in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg J.C. Barker saved Wellford AFC from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Shayne Garland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but DeMarcus Peoples was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The supporters of GKS Łapsze Niżne booed when Wellford AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walker Pugh didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Homer Metzger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. GKS Łapsze Niżne's Homer Metzger got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, Wellford AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Homer Metzger came free, but J.C. Barker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute Gilberto Stovall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but J.C. Barker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilberto Stovall struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. J.C. Barker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GKS Łapsze Niżne. Homer Metzger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, GKS Łapsze Niżne's Harvey Burkhart got a free kick in the 41st minute. Wellford AFC's Shayne Garland shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 41st minute of play. The shot was stopped by DeMarcus Peoples but with some difficulty. GKS Łapsze Niżne's Homer Metzger got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

DeMarcus Peoples didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Weldon Phillips went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 56 minutes into the game, Shayne Garland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wellford AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GKS Łapsze Niżne the free kick. GKS Łapsze Niżne made a substitution. Sonny Whalen replaced Otto Bates. After a rather tough play, Wellford AFC's Shayne Garland got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Shayne Garland ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. DeMarcus Peoples was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Shayne Garland fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeMarcus Peoples having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Wellford AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Madars Uchiha to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Harvey Burkhart sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker didn't even have to move. Wellford AFC's J.C. Barker proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Wellford AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shayne Garland in the 80th minute of play forced GKS Łapsze Niżne's goalkeeper DeMarcus Peoples to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Shayne Garland's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but DeMarcus Peoples was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 85thth minute of the game Shayne Garland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GKS Łapsze Niżne's DeMarcus Peoples was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. DeMarcus Peoples took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Weldon Phillips, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cory Baca hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Many of GKS Łapsze Niżne's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. GKS Łapsze Niżne may have spent more time on the ball, but Wellford AFC were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
