The audience was convinced that Saturnino Oinaz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but J.C. Barker was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. If Birila Hinojos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Weldon Phillips had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saturnino Oinaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over J.C. Barker. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saturnino Oinaz ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Wellford AFC booed when XOLOS LAS VEGAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darryl Sandoval didn't get a good kick on the ball.
