In the 28th minute, one of Girth FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Girth FC. Dan Feliciano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emery Couch having to interfere. Lake Mohawk FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dan Feliciano in the 38th minute. After 38 played minutes Lake Mohawk FC got a freekick which was hit by C.J. Brewer. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dan Feliciano in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emery Couch prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Girth FC's Emery Couch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Feliciano in the 44th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerry Hudson to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Girth FC's Jospeh Timmons got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dan Feliciano struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Emery Couch didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lake Mohawk FC. Karl Singer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emery Couch having to interfere. Emery Couch came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Lake Mohawk FC's Dan Feliciano. But to his dismay, Dan Feliciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Emery Couch made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dan Feliciano in the 65th minute. Dan Felicianos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Emery Couch to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 67 minutes into the game, Dan Feliciano lined in a short shot 0-5 behind a frustrated Emery Couch. Emery Couch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Gold in the 69th minute of the match. With a little luck, Girth FC's Emery Couch got control of the ball when Dan Feliciano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Girth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allen Stover to maneuver through the defense. When Allen Stover fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Girth FC's protests and gave Allen Stover a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Girth FC's Allen Stover got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 81st minute, Preston Ferreira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Emery Couch. The goal made the score 0-7. Dan Feliciano who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Emery Couch when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Wilson Gold blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emery Couch having to make a save. A collision led to Lake Mohawk FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Karl Singer hit a great ball. Alvar Almkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Lake Mohawk FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
