Girth FC's Emery Couch played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Healy in the 13th minute of play. Nikolas Papadamous stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kerry Hudson's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Kerry Hudson sped through Jacksonville FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nikolas Papadamous. Girth FC's Emery Couch proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Girth FC from getting a goal against them. Nikolas Papadamous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerry Hudson in the 20th minute of play. Emery Couch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Federico Healy's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Jacksonville FC were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Girth FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Taylor Wiley took the corner. The corner led Jacksonville FC's Taylor Wiley to fire away a dangerous shot which Emery Couch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 24th play minute Taylor Wiley came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emery Couch. 2-1. After 27 minutes of play, Girth FC's Neil Landis made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nikolas Papadamous was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 29th minute, Federico Healy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikolas Papadamous showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neil Landis, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Nikolas Papadamous took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Allen Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ross Holliday kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Nikolas Papadamous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Landis in the 44th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taylor Wiley got free with Emery Couch in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 47th minute, Neil Landis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Girth FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kerry Hudson to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Taylor Wiley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Allen Stover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Allen Stover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nikolas Papadamous saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Allen Stover kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nikolas Papadamous. That made the score 2-5 in the 67 minute of play. In the 71st match minute, Jacksonville FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Costa to maneuver through the defense. When Mark Rich fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jacksonville FC's protests and gave Mark Rich a yellow card for diving instead. Mark Rich hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Nikolas Papadamous made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neil Landis in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute, Allen Stover fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Steven Pollard hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Girth FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
